Just Squeaking By is a blog about my finances. Among other things, it tracks how I save, spend and invest my money. Though I have a degree in business, I’m not a financial genius. I’ll be honest about what I’m doing with my money. However, before doing as I do, you should do your own research before making any financial decisions.

Being the skeptic that I am, you’ll probably disagree with some things I say. That’s fine - leave a comment and we’ll discuss it. Agree with me - that’s cool too - leave a comment and say so. Doing this will educate both of us and possibly others.

About Me (JSB)

I started this blog to track my progress toward financial freedom. Before I went to college I used to spend a lot of money on new toys. Now that I’m out of college and don’t have much to show for all the money I previously spent, I’ve decided that it’s time to get my finances in order.

My wife and I live in a cheaper area of New York state where we both work full-time jobs. Our short-term goals include paying off our debt and saving for a house.
